My Anecdote

1. My mother and I decided to give my cat, Laverne, a bath because she had gotten all muddy. Now, I know cats clean themselves, but there comes a time when even a cat won't lick disgusting mud off herself. So my mom says I have to help and shes not doing this by herself, bla bla bla. So I promise to help. We get Laverne in the sink, which is hard enough in itself. (she does not have clipped claws) My mom pins her down and sprays her off, while I laugh so hard I run into the fridge. Then comes the interesting part. Laverne gets this evil glint in her eye and totally goes ninja on us. Next thing I know, she is halfway up the wall with my mom holding on to her tail and yelling at me to help. There is soap everywhere, and my mom has a gash on her hand. I am now laughing so hard I can't breathe. Eventually, we wrestle her back down into the sink and spray her off. Now the only thing she needs is to be dry. So I go find the thickest towel we have and throw it over Laverne. My mom wraps her and picks her up, so now she calms down a tad. When she is not dripping, we let her go.

Comedy

This is funny because the tiny kitten looks like it's trying to be scary, which is pointless because its way too cute. Also, the caption does not have proper grammer, so it sounds like someone little is saying it.

Sue: Hey Lola, what did you get on your science test?
Lola: Masacra. You?
Sue: Nail polish.
Lola: I heard Billy got boogers on his!
Sue: No way! Guess what? Robby got drool on his!
Lola: Oh. My. Gosh. I have to tell Sherry! She got lip gloss on hers!
Sue: I'm going to find out if Billy really got boogers on his. See you tomorrow!
Lola: Okay!

Inspiration

In Language Arts, we did a mini-project on a person/organization that won the nobel peace prize. The organization that inspired me most is IPCC organization because they strive to educate and reverse climate change. The climate changing is a big deal. If it keeps rising, then ice caps melt, which leads ocean rising, which means less room for our exploding population. They also focus on pollution and ocean rise. Pollution causes climate change while rising oceans is a result. We are destroying our planet, faster than we think. IPCC wants to change that.

Something you can't quite see, but you know it's there
